The Mentoring Institute was created to address the needs of mental health professionals, individuals and organizations. We provide supervision for new professionals who need to meet supervision requirements for full licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or CSW. We provide supervisor training for mental health professionals who supervise their colleagues. We offer collegial consultation for experienced professionals in the areas of practice concerns, clinical issues and ethics. We also provide coaching services to individuals and organizations and consulting services in the areas of mental health practice, supervision, continuing education, and human resource development. Our goal is to help organizations become more effective than ever, and to help individuals be the best they can be. We do this by providing quality professional services at affordable prices.

The Supervision Program is designed for new professionals who need to meet supervision requirements for full licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or CSW. In addition to case consultation, seminars related to professional practice, practice management, and topics of particular interest to participating professionals will be offered. Each supervision program will be individually designed to best meet each professional's needs. |

The Supervisor Training Program is for mental health professionals who provide supervision for their colleagues. Effective January 1, 2005, LPCs who provide supervision for LLPCs needing to meet licensure requirements must have received training in supervision. The Supervisor Training Program has been designed for LPCs and other mental health professionals who want to make supervision a part of their practice and who are seeking a complete, comprehensive program designed to help them become effective supervisors. This program complies with training requirements for NBCC's Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) Credential, and provides 30 contact hours of NBCC approved continuing education through a combination of home study and on-site training to maximize convenience and effectiveness. The institute provides quality, professional training at affordable prices with special discounts are available for MCA members. |
| The Collegial Support Program was created for practicing professionals interested in consultation, support, and mentoring. On-going or even one-time consultation concerning practice issues, clinical concerns or ethical considerations will be provided by experienced professionals. Therapists starting a new practice and solo practitioners will find this program particularly helpful. |
| Coaching is a process in which normal, healthy individuals seek to improve the quality of their lives. The Mentoring Institute offers personal coaching for people who want to grow as individuals, improve their relationships, and successfully negotiate life's challenges. Business coaching focuses on leadership and career development and mentoring. |
| Consultation is offered to business and organizations. For mental health organizations, we provide consultation in the areas of supervision, mental health practice, clinical and ethical issues. For all businesses and organizations, we provide consultation in human resource development. |
| Continuing Education is offered to support the continuing growth and development of mental health professionals. Programs are of the highest quality and include both those developed by The Mentoring Institute and those developed by professional colleagues for whom we have the highest regard.
